About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager – FX Sales to grow our foreign exchange business and help us scale our institutional client base. You’ll be closing deals with high-value clients, spotting new FX opportunities, and building a sales pipeline that brings in steady revenue. If you’ve sold FX or treasury products before and love getting real results, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Be Owning

Drive FX Sales and Revenue

  • Month 3: Onboard at least 3 transacting clients and generate $250,000 in FX revenue.

  • Month 6: Generate a total of $375,000 in FX revenue and convert 50% of qualified leads into active clients.

  • Own and manage a pipeline with a clear forecast and deal velocity that supports monthly revenue goals.

Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships

  • Maintain a portfolio of active corporate and HNI clients with at least 70% monthly retention.

  • Drive upsell and repeat transaction opportunities from at least 60% of onboarded clients.

Market Intelligence and Client Strategy

  • Provide product and pricing feedback based on direct client input and lost-deal analysis.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

You’re a closer. You know how to win trust, spot real FX opportunities, and get deals over the line. You’ve sold foreign exchange or treasury products before, maybe in a bank, a BDC, or a fintech. You’re numbers-driven, market-savvy, and hungry to build something that matters.

  • 3+ years in FX sales, treasury sales, or B2B financial services

  • Proven track record of meeting and beating sales targets

  • Solid understanding of Nigeria’s FX market and how CBN regulations affect your deals

  • Experience with corporate clients, HNIs, or fintech partnerships

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to crypto, stablecoins, or cross-border settlements

  • Experience selling financial APIs or embedded FX services

  • A network of potential clients you can tap into quickly
