About the Role
We're looking for a versatile Marketing Associate to be the driving force behind the growth of Quidax's API business. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be at the heart of our expansion, turning complex technology into clear business value. You'll get your hands dirty across the entire marketing mix, from creating compelling content and tracking performance to enabling our sales team and engaging with developers. We need a doer, a B2B marketing expert who can connect with technical audiences and business leaders alike. You'll play a critical role in bringing our innovative API solutions to new markets and building a thriving ecosystem of merchants and developers.
What You’ll be Doing
You’ll be a B2B marketing generalist and a strategic owner of our API business growth. Your main goal is to drive our marketing engine, from first touch to full adoption, and turn our API into a go-to solution
for developers and businesses across Africa and beyond.
Marketing Engine & Growth
Within 3 months:
Optimize landing pages and email campaigns to drive +15% increase in conversion rates.
Own and maintain marketing analytics dashboards to ensure 100% of active campaigns are tracked in real- time.
Produce 3-5 new benefit-driven product pages or blog posts by collaborating with engineers to translate technical features into clear customer value.
Establish a consistent brand voice and style guide across all API-related communications.
Create 2-3 new pitch decks and 3-5 technical one-pagers to equip the sales team for faster deal cycles.
Document the full sales enablement playbook to ensure alignment between marketing and sales
Within 6 months:
Design and launch multi-channel demand generation campaigns to increase Marketing Qualified Leads by 20 - 30%
Execute at least 2 Account Based Marketing campaigns targeting the top 10-20 enterprise accounts.
Coordinate 3-4 webinars or industry events that attract 150+ attendees each and strengthen brand presence.
Lead and implement SEO strategy to achieve top 5 rankings for at least 3 high-intent API keywords.
Deploy a marketing attribution model to ensure 90%+ of leads are trackable from first click to closed deal.
Train the sales team on how to use collateral effectively, ensuring 100% adoption in enterprise pitches.
Within 12 months:
Deliver and execute a full marketing plan for new market expansion, generating 50+ qualified leads in the new market,
Refined and scale developer relations strategy to grow API community to 500+ active developers across Slack or mailing lists.
Streamline the lead nurturing process to shorten sales cycles by 15-20% and increase Sales Qualified Leads by 30-40%
Maintain a steady content cadence of 2-3 high-quality content pieces per month (case studies, technical docs, blog posts)
Deliver ROI reports that attribute 80-90% of closed-won deals to specific marketing initiatives.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of 1 - 2 co-marketing/partnerships activities per quarter

Juggling multiple personas: You'll create campaigns that speak to developers, CTOs, and business owners all at once.
Driving awareness and adoption: You'll generate high-intent leads and convert them into loyal customers in a crowded market.
Building a robust attribution model: You'll dig into our data to understand which channels are driving growth and optimize our spending.
Managing cross-functional collaboration: You'll be the central hub, working with sales, product, and engineering to ensure smooth launches and consistent messaging.
Balancing strategy with execution: You'll handle both the big picture and the day-to-day tasks, from strategic planning to writing ad copy to organizing events.
Job requirements
Who We’re Looking For
3 - 5 years of experience in fintech, SaaS, or an API-first company, with a proven track record of generating leads and nurturing them through complex B2B sales cycles.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused value propositions.
Proven track record in demand generation and lead nurturing for technical products.
Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing attribution and performance tracking.
Excellent written communication skills with ability to create technical and business content.
Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
Understanding of API ecosystems, developer marketing, and technical product positioning.
Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and African fintech landscape.
Experience marketing to multiple buyer personas including developers, CTOs, and business decision-makers.
Knowledge of B2B sales cycles and enterprise marketing strategies.
Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in financial services marketing.
Reporting Line
You’ll report to our API/B2B Head of sales and partnerships and work closely with the API/B2B Marketing Team, Engineering Team, & Merchant Success to scale our API ecosystem.
